OPTEX participated in ISC West 2021 last month, our first major industry trade show for the last year and a half. The largest security industry trade show in the U.S., the ISC West was held in Las Vegas, Nevada this year. In previous years, the ISC West connected over 30,000 security professionals with more than 1,000 exhibitors & brands. Due to Covid-19, the attendance this year was drastically reduced by two-thirds. Nevertheless, we were delighted to have generated a much higher number of leads and opportunities than initially expected, and our trade show booth was constantly busy throughout the 3 day period! Due to pandemic-related difficulties, systems integrators, distributors, AE’s, and end users need to rely more than ever on trustworthy brands like OPTEX that deliver effective products and solutions. The constant booth traffic we received at ISC West was a testament to our North America team’s hard work.
New Product Showcase Awards
The Security Industry Association (SIA) has announced the 2021 winners of the SIA New Product Showcase Awards, the flagship awards program presented in partnership with ISC West recognizing innovative security products, services and solutions. Since its inception in 1979, the SIA New Product Showcase has been the security industry’s premier product awards program. New products are reviewed by a panel of judges with extensive industry experience, and in 2021, following significant deliberations, the 35 judges presented awards for technologies covering 25+ product and service categories. The 2021 SIA New Product Showcase entries were on display on the ISC West show floor.
The OPTEX Redscan Pro won the Intrusion Detection and Prevention Solutions category by showing the judges its best in class features and benefits. The OPTEX Visual Verification 12 Channel Bridge was also awarded honorable mention for commercial monitoring solutions.
Visual Verification Solutions by CHeKT
At this year’s ISC West, the OPTEX tradeshow booth also featured the CHeKT Professional Visual Verification solutions. In partnership with OPTEX, CHeKT has become a recognized option for end users and dealers looking for effective professional monitoring. The ability to link video and sensors helps create an impactful solution that provides 100% no false dispatches from monitoring centers. CHeKT’s presence in the OPTEX booth was well received by many visitors.
