Ivan Mosquera Named Director of Sales, USA & Canada for OPTEX Security Division

OPTEX INC. is pleased to announce the appointment of Ivan Mosquera as Director of Sales, USA & Canada for the Security Division.

Ivan brings more than 28 years of experience with OPTEX to his new role, with an extensive background in business development across the Latin American security market. Most recently, he served as Export Manager for LATAM, where he led go-to-market strategies for complex security and critical infrastructure projects involving technologies such as fiber optic sensing, 3D radar, LiDAR, active infrared detection, and specialized illumination.

Throughout his career with OPTEX, Ivan has developed strong regional distribution networks and built executive-level relationships with systems integrators. He has also worked closely with regional sales and technical teams to secure and support major projects throughout Latin America.

In his new role, Ivan will lead Security Division sales efforts across the United States and Canada, bringing his extensive industry knowledge, channel development experience, and understanding of complex security applications to the position.

Ivan holds a B.A. in Latin American Studies from the University of Chicago.
