High mount outdoor intrusion detection
The QX Infinity (QXI) series is a range of outdoor intrusion detection sensors – PIR and dual-technology - providing 120° wide and 12m (40ft) detection area, for residential and commercial applications. Sleek and compact, QXI Series can be mounted up to 2.7m and can trigger both alarm panel or CCTV systems.
The QXI is an all-round high-mount sensor that complements OPTEX’s existing short range outdoor PIR range providing wide angle 120 degree and 12 m of detection area. The sensors can be installed at a height of between 2.2 m and 2.7 m, fitting discretely on any residential or commercial building and creating a multi-level volumetric detection pattern that provides reliable motion detection to trigger alarm panel or CCTV cameras.
The QXI sensors are equipped with new Quad technology featuring a pyro element that has been redefined by OPTEX and supports a greater detection performance. For even more reliable sensing capabilities and greater tolerance against light and RFI, QXI series features improved Super Multi-Dimensional Analysis (SMDA) logic and Double Conductive Shielding.
