REDSCAN is an award-winning laser detector that identifies the size, speed and distance of a moving object and can function in effect like an invisible wall or plane. Using LiDAR technology, the sensors are unaffected by light or heat sources making it a very reliable detection system. With the ability to be mounted either vertically or horizontally and to be used indoor or outdoor, the REDSCAN can be used for a wide range of security and safety applications. It can be deployed to protect perimeters, buildings, skylights, pieces of art or valuable assets as well as to increase safety in public transport by detecting people on railway tracks or crossings.
Built-in Analytics
Every REDSCAN sensor constantly scans its detection area, outputting live X-Y coordinates and object size information. This allows precise tracking of intrusions and ensures that security teams know exactly where a target is located. Systems can be configured to detect objects of specific sizes — for example, ignoring vehicles while alerting on people.
Independent Detection Areas
Depending on the model, REDSCAN sensors support multiple independent detection zones (up to eight). Each zone can trigger unique actions such as activating cameras, lights, or alarms, giving operators granular control over security responses.
Easy Configuration
REDSCAN sensors are designed for flexibility. Users can quickly set up modes for loitering, area masking, day/night switching, or even thrown-object detection. Web-based tools, built-in alignment aids, and intuitive adjustment features simplify installation and fine-tuning.

Long-range, high-security protection with rectangular detection patterns that eliminate gaps and overlaps. Models RLS-50100V and RLS-3060V deliver coverage up to 165 × 330 ft with built-in assistance cameras, ONVIF Profile S compliance, and robust environmental adaptability.
REDSCAN mini-Pro
Compact high-resolution detection with fast response times. Models RLS-2020A and RLS-2020V (with built-in IR FHD camera) cover 65 × 65 ft (expandable to 100 ft) with precise X-Y coordinate tracking, advanced analytics, and seamless integration into VMS and IP systems.
REDSCAN mini
A discreet and lightweight solution balancing performance and design sensitivity. Models RLS-2020S (indoor/outdoor) and RLS-2020i (indoor) provide 65 × 65 ft to 97.5 ft arc coverage, with four independent detection zones, PoE support, and efficient integration into modern security platforms.
REDSCAN Lite
Streamlined and accessible LiDAR protection for sensitive indoor spaces. With 33 × 33 ft coverage and intuitive setup features like tool-less adjustment and PC-less configuration, REDSCAN Lite is ideal for datacenters, retail displays, skylights, and glass partitions.
