OPTEX Entrance Appoints New Vice President Of Sales And Marketing - Entrance Division

OPTEX Inc. today announced that Mr. Ben Norris will be joining OPTEX Inc. as the Vice President of Sales and Marketing - Entrance Division, effective May 16, 2021.

Mr. Norris will be joining the company from ASSA ABLOY Group, where he was the Vertical Market Sales Team Lead for five years. Mr. Norris will be bringing his experience in sales management to OPTEX Inc. to develop and grow the Entrance Division.

Additionally, Mr. Norris’s experiences that will benefit OPTEX Inc. moving forward include:

• His experience as a National Account & Vertical Market Sales Manager for ASSA ABLOY-Door Security Solutions where he led and supported a robust sales team, established strong relationships with all accounts, and used a synergistic strategy leveraging all ASSA ABLOY divisions and 30+ brands. In these roles, he met and exceeded all quarterly and yearly sales goals, generated multimillion-dollar revenue streams and had a CAGR of +12% in the last 3 years.
• His time as a Sales Manager at CRH Americas, the largest manufacturer of building products and materials in North America. In this position he was instrumental to the successful rollout of a new CRM tool, which became an integral part of the business development strategy used nationwide.
• His role as a Sales Manager for Sulzer where he implemented a new commercial channel strategy by training and developing new distributor partners in complementary markets. In this position, he was the backbone for success generating double digit incremental sales growth year over year.
